Kamilaroi man Mitchum Neave visited the centre to tell the School Readiness children about Aboriginal culture. He also brought a didgeridoo. Mr Neave is the father of Mary Ranken educator Bec Neave.
The centre also had a visit from Gwen Griffen who is the great-grandmother of pre-schooler Dustin. Ms Griffen read a Dreamtime story to the children.
