New books added to the library’s stock this month include Anzac Journeys: Returning to the battlefields of World War II by Bruce Scates. The book includes maps, photos, and quotations.
Other books are: Kidspeak: A dictionary of Australian children’s words, expressions and games by June Factor. People who would like to be chilled and thrilled could read Ghosts of the World: True tales of ghostly hauntings. And now that the weather is getting cooler and there is more time in the evenings, the handcrafters could get a head start on Christmas gifts by knitting from How Tea Cosies Changed the World which is full of quirky designs, or tackle Twas the Knits before Christmas by Fiona Goble which is full of designs on the creations of all the characters in the famous poem!
