Hundreds of young soccer players ran out onto the field on Saturday for the first round of the Gunnedah and District Soccer Association junior season.
Kids of all ages had their first kick for the year on a beautiful Autumn’s day at the Geoff Morgan Playing Fields.
The Namoi Valley Independent was down at the grounds on Saturday to capture some action shots.
While the weekend saw the first games held for junior soccer players, the Gunnedah and District Soccer Association launched their season Friday, April 6 at the Geoff Morgan Playing Fields.
The launch served as a way for parents to sign their kids up with the help of GDSA committee members.
