On Monday, Gunnedah mayor Jamie Chaffey will officially open Seniors Week at the Smithurst Theatre at 9am. There will be a complimentary morning tea and entertainment from Gunnedah musician Rex Baldwin.
The opening will be followed by brain games at Gunnedah Shire Library from 10.30am-11.30am and 3.30pm-4.30pm. Complimentary morning tea and afternoon tea.
Bingo will be held at the Smirthurst from 1.30pm-3.30pm at a cost of $2 per bingo card.
On Tuesday at the library, seniors are invited to read stories to toddlers from 10:30-11:30 and then from 11:15am-12pm, the adults will get a chance to hear stories. From 2pm-3pm, there will be brain games. There will be complimentary morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Places are limited. Phone 6740 2190 to book.
In the afternoon, bingo will be held at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club from 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm. Eleven games are $5 and a $10 lunch special will be available.
On Wednesday, there will be a combined church service at the Gunnedah Anglican Church at 10am. There will be a complimentary morning tea.
Gunnedah GoCo will hold an information session at the Gunnedah Rural Museum from 9.30am-11am. There will be a complimentary morning tea.
Oak Tree Retirement Village will host a luncheon from 12pm-1.30pm. RSVP by Monday, April 9 by phoning 0429 594 995. The cost is $15 each, with payment needed in advance.

On Thursday, there will be a free strength and balance class from 9am-10am at GoCo. RSVPto 6740 2240. Bingo will be held at the bowling club from 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm. Eleven games are $5 and a $10 lunch special will be available.
On Friday, The Civic will screen The Dressmaker at 10am for $5 a ticket. Morning tea will be provided. There will be a free luncheon at the bowling club at 12pm. RSVP by Monday on 6740 2240.
On Saturday, there will be a mystery bus tour from 9am-4.30pm. The bus will depart from GoCo. Book and pay in advance by phoning 6740 2240. Tickets are $25 per person.
On Sunday, watch the We Are One community choir perform from 2pm-3pm at the Smithurst, followed by the Dustier than Ever Slim Dusty tribute show at 3pm in Gunnedah Town Hall. Tickets are $25. Book by phoning 6740 2100.
