Sunnyfield Gunnedah is leading the charge by hosting a pink stumps day at Wolseley Park to raise money and awareness for the McGrath Foundation.
Sunnyfield regional manger Ada Maughan encouraged the whole community to get involved in the event.
“The event is a great opportunity for everyone to come together and raise some much needed money for a very worthwhile cause and have fun at the same time,” Ms Maughan said.
“Clients from Sunnyfield Tamworth will be coming across for the day, but we would love to see as many members of the community get involved as possible.”

The event will have a variety of activities including cricket games, a barbecue and face painting.
“Really there is something for everyone to enjoy and get involved with,” Ms Maughan said.
“The Gunnedah clients will be playing cricket and doing the cooking to raise money, but we are inviting everyone to come down and join in.”
The pink ribbon day will kick off at 10am Monday April 9 at Wolseley Park, entry for the all inclusive event is a gold coin donation and all proceeds go to the McGrath Foundation.
