The fight night, titled Bad Intentions Three, will see roughly 26 amateurs take to the ring along with the two professional fights.
Ryan will fight Thailand’s Atchariya Wirojanasunobol for the WBC ABCO Super Welterweight title while Nolan will compete in his first professional bout.
It will be the first time Ryan has fought since his loss to Tim Tszyu last year.
Black ‘N’ Blue Boxing Gunnedah trainer David Syphers said Ryan had come a long way since that fight.
“The preparation has been real good. He [Ryan] spent three weeks in the Philippines training – hard training – over there,” Syphers said.
“That Tim Tszyu fight’s going to make him a better fighter. That fight did him the world of good.
“He mightn't have got the judges call but he got a lot out of it. He learnt a lot.”
Nolan will also take on a Thai boxer in Tnananut Johphromma and Syphers said Nolan’s preparation was going to plan.
“He’s ready to go for his pro debut,” Syphers said.
“It’s a bit of a transitional change to go from amateur to professional.
“He’s going to find the difference when he gets in the ring – because they're smaller gloves.
“He’s working on his power, his defence and his fitness as well. His fitness has got to be right.”
Black ‘N’ Boxing Gunnedah holds a fight night once a year.
Syphers said it was a night the whole gym looks forward to.
“It’s very important. You have to get your locals on. You have to give them a chance,” Syphers said.
“We’ve got a good gym, a strong gym, here at Black ‘N’ Blue.
“We have, maybe, 12 fighters on the night that come out of the gym.”
Tickets are available from Bill Syphers Saddlery.
