Boggabri stock agent Guy Gallen told The Namoi Valley Independent the region still needs more rain.

Mr Gallen said Sunday’s rain would not have prevented any farmers from harvesting summer crops.
“No I don’t think it would have effected anybody like that,” he said.
“It was only beneficial as far as I can see, I could be wrong but I think it would have been pretty good for everyone.”
Sunday’s rain brings Gunnedah’s 2018 total rainfall to 51.8mm which is well short of Gunnedah’s 2017 rainfall to the same date, which was 90.8mm.
BOM is forecasting more rain for Gunnedah throughout the week with an 80 per cent chance of rain on Monday, Saturday and Sunday.
