“The NSW Government is funding the work which involves road rebuilding and resurfacing to improve safety and travel times for motorists,” Member for Upper Hunter, Michael Johnsen said.
Work will be carried out from Monday 19 February between 7am to 8pm on weekdays and from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.
“It is expected work will be completed by Tuesday 27 March, weather permitting”, Mr Johnsen said.
Roads and Maritime Services will notify the community if any work is required outside these times.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
