Jake Field spent two nights in custody following his arrest in Gunnedah late on Saturday on charges of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit and using a prohibited weapon contrary to a prohibition order.
The 22-year-old pleaded not guilty in Tamworth Local Court to both charges which stem from a police raid on an O’Keefe Avenue property in Gunnedah earlier this month.
Magistrate Julie Soars granted Field bail to live in Mannering Park and report to police twice-a-week.
He is also prohibited from entering Gunnedah and must not take drugs or alcohol or be in possessing of any prohibited weapon.
The case returns to court in April.
