Members of Challenge along with family and friends, will take to the Gunnedah heated pool for a full day of competitive and non-competitive swimming action.
Challenge deputy CEO Stephen Doley said the swimming carnival is one of the groups “marquee events”.
“The day is put together by Challenge and people always look forward to it,” Mr Doley said.
‘It’s all about having fun and participation while giving our clients a very memorable experience.
“At this stage we will have more than 100 people involved which is fantastic.”
Mr Doley told The Namoi Valley Independent the swimming carnival will be a showcase for the good work Challenge does in the community.
“For us it is all about putting smiles on faces,” he said.
“Really there is no better way for us to show the community our purpose.”
The deputy CEO said the greater community can get involved in the day in a variety of ways.
“Gunnedah is always fantastic to us,” he said.
“It is always good to see the community get involved, we can’t emphasis enough how much we appreciate the community’s support and how welcome everyone is.
“We want to thank our sponsors as well for their support and encourage anybody in the community who wants to get involved through sponsorship or anything like that to get in touch with us.”
