Kate Halliday, Cathie McMaster and Emma Craswell each started at the school in January.
Ms McMaster is the relieving principal until the end of term one and has 12 years experience in leadership. She was principal at Currabubula Public School for two years and Tambar Springs for 12 years.
She now lives in Gunnedah and is glad she no longer needs to commute.
“It’s a terrific place with dedicated staff and great kids,” she said.
“It’s been a great start to the year. I feel very honoured to have the role.”

Emma Craswell has a role in the support class and has been a teacher for five years. She spend four years at Quirindi High School and is from Tamworth.
“I have a double degree in special education,” she said.
“I'm doing a graduate diploma in psychology.”
Kate Halliday is teaching three days a week as a casual, providing relief for teachers.
“It allows teachers to continue their professional development,” she said.
“I’m going into the library full-time for terms two and three.”
This is Ms Halliday’s fourth year in the education system. She taught for three years in Griffith, NSW.
“I love it here,” she said.
“The teachers here are so supportive. The kids are fantastic and the community is great.”
