The second power outage came after nine races were abandoned on December 23 last year. Gunnedah Greyhound Racing Club president Geoff Rose said he was searching for answers.
“I’m in the process of working with Essential Energy to figure out what the problem is,” Rose said on Monday.
“It’s just the supply of power. I’m not sure if my demand is too high for what they’ve put in there. I’ve got someone coming out to find that out.”
Barring the power problems, Rose said it was a “bloody good night” at the greyhound racing track.
Tony Atkins combined with wife Robyn to train three winners on the night with Back Water Hatty, Snipper Brann and Brett Brann all registering victories.
Snipper Brann and Brett Brann will now race at Wentworth Park this Wednesday.
