In 2016, Gunnedah and Tamworth combined their retail offering with a new team, which significantly increased the district’s capabilities to deliver premium service to local clients.
The joint approach brought together expertise in management, stock control and agronomy, creating business efficiencies that resulted in a more comprehensive customer service offering.
In a speech on the night, branch manager Nik Hannaford, said that his team let the value of respect shape the way in which they do business.
“It is a great honour and privilege to win this award for our staff who are all very dedicated to the cause and to each other,” Mr Hannahford said.
“Our main ethos at Gunnedah is respect. Respect for one another, respect for our clients and respect for the shirt that we wear.
“We believe in the branch and in the brand. When you take these values into account in all of your dealings, you can’t stray far from doing what’s right for everyone, and I think that shows in what we’ve achieved and built here over the last few years.”
Elders’ North Zone general manager, Greg Dunne, said that the Gunnedah branch is an example of a team, which always have their clients’ and one another’s best interests at heart.
“We’ve had a huge year at Elders, with much of our success driven by branches like Gunnedah who go above and beyond to find the best outcome for their clients,” Mr Dunne said..
“This commitment to our values – particularly integrity and customer focus – has led to high performance across all areas and overall, strong FY17 results.
“I’m proud to congratulate the team and looking forward to seeing what they deliver in 2018.”
