Woman airlifted to Tamworth after single-vehicle accident

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to the incident yesterday afternoon on Gunnedah Road, about 10 kilometres out of Coonabarabran.
A 30-year-old woman was was trapped by confinement for a period of time, before emergency services worked to release her.
The helicopter met a paramedic ambulance at Coonabarabran hospital, where she was stabilised before being flown to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition, with facial and chest injuries.
