Friends and family gathered in the school hall to be entertained by the students who used music, song and fun to create a day to remember.
Gunnedah Shire mayor Jamie Chaffey was among those who attended, and handed out awards.
It has been a big year for GS Kidd with many highlights including the purchase of a mini-bus in May for regular outings to the shops and Riding for the Disabled, plus excursions out of town, such as the annual road trip to Newcastle to watch a football game.
It took two years of fundraising to gain the finances, with activities including golf days, raffles and the cabaret shows Chambre Rouge and Tinsel Town, which secured more than $10,000.
