It is a once a year meet-up that everyone looks forward to but the earlier lightening saw several locals miss out because they were fighting local fires.
Organiser Keli D'Hudson said she was impressed with the amount of people that can make it each year, and it always reknowned for the amount of delicious food everyone brings to share.
Santa (or was it Bad Santa?), Peter Rollings, and his naughty elf, Chloe Abbott, arrived on a CRF250 and a CRF150 motorbike loaded with gifts for the kids.
Dark clouds were forming at the end of the gifts and singing, so Santa and his elf did fish tails and burn-outs as they rode off into the sunset.
A sumptuous barbecue was provided by the Goolhi Fire Brigade, with Tom Fearby and Ash Whitney cooking all the steaks, kebabs and sausages to perfection.
Co-organiser Jules Orman has already put her thinking cap on for a new way for Santa to arrive next year. In previous years, Santa has arrived on horseback, helicoption, front end loaders etc.
Following are some photos I took with my phone....
