Sisters Linda and Carol Owers will be setting up their Christmas extravaganza in High Street again this year and are inviting the community to come and enjoy the display.
All proceeds from the entry costs will go to the Gunnedah RSPCA who rescue and rehome local animals, and run community initiatives including desexing programs such as Target 150.
The Owers started the display more than 20 years ago in front of their home, at 9 High Street, after the birth of their niece Grace.
The display is set-up in two front yards and one full block, which includes Santa’s workshop, elves workshop, monster house and a Christmas house.
The Owers are looking for eight volunteers to help between 8.15pm and 10.30pm from December 15-26. To help, phone Linda Owers on 0427 422 517.
Entry costs for the Christmas display are $1 per person for under 12 years of age and $2 per person for over 12 years of age.
