Led by publican Greg Thomas, the Parkview is cooking about 50 meals a day, five days a week, which are then delivered by MOW to clients in the township and outlying areas. They can also cook emergency meals on the weekend.
Mrs Fuller said it was important for MOW clients to be provided with fresh, nutritious meals.
“[Greg’s] qualified to do this with us now,” Mrs Fuller said.
“Greg goes above and all call of duty. We believe he’s doing everything we need to suit our clients.”

Mr Thomas said he and his offsider Di Wynne oversaw the MOW meals.
“Because of our high turn-over of food, our food is certainly fresh,” he said.
“We cater to all their requirements.”
The publican said MOW play an important role in the community.
“These guys do a fantastic job,” he said.
“I’ve recently lost my mother and I can see the importance of the elderly being looked after.
“I rest comfortably knowing they get a balanced, nutritious meal each day.”
Mr Thomas said he and his staff enjoyed working with MOW and looked forward to a long-term relationship.
“We hope to continue providing the meals on an ongoing basis.”
Gunnedah District Hospital has provided meals to MOW for 54 years and will continue to provide some frozen meals.
