A sensational effort and the haul came after plenty of hard work in the gym.
Black 'N' Blue Boxing’s David Syphers took the quintet through their paces in the lead-up and was stoked with the result.
“Yeah, very happy. They all performed well and they were all hard fights,” Syphers said.
“We always have high expectations. We went over there to win and they've all been training well in the gym.
“They were all ready for the bouts and they were all very competitive fights.”
Bailey Tull was taking part in his first boxing match and took home a win while Tony Griffiths also notched up a victory.
Mark FItzgerald was unlucky as he lost via a close points decision.
Albert Nolan (57 kilograms) and Brendan Davey (86 kilograms) both claimed Global – which is a boxing organisation – Australian titles.
Of the five fights, Syphers said Nolan’s bout was his pick of the night.
“I think Albert Nolan’s fight was the fight of the night,” Syphers said.
“It was a very tough fight, he fought very strongly.”
Syphers also said it wasn’t a surprise Nolan fought so well given his recent form.
“He won a NSW title just four weeks ago in Sydney,” he said.
For Nolan and Davey, there will be no rest time as the pair prepare for the Amateur Boxing League Australian titles in three weeks.
The duo will take part in the knockout event which runs for three days.
“In three week’s time we’ll travel to Melbourne with Albert and Brendan, to fight for the ABL Australian titles,” Syphers said.
“We’re just going to focus on skills.
“Their fitness levels are pretty good because they've been fighting. We just need to bring them along with their skills to get them ready for these titles.
“It’s a step up – it’s a once a year thing and they get the chance to become the ABL and Global champions.”
After the pair fight at the Australian titles, Syphers said they could potentially move into the professional ranks.
