Library Lines
This week, the library will be operating with a new library management system, so there might be a little disruption in the speed of the services as all staff get used to the new equipment and set up of the screens. As Gunnedah was only one of two libraries in NSW using the old system, we are all excited about the possibilities of the update.

There will be possibilities of sending out reminder notices, or notices that reserved or requested books are now ready for collection, by email, so if you would like to update your registration details, including your email address, please let the library staff know.
Plenty of new books have been added to the library collection this week.
Among the new titles are, Two Nights, the first book of a new series by Kathy Reichs, better known for her forensic science novels. This thriller introduces Sunday Night, “a woman with physical and psychological scars … [who] has to face her own demons”.
There’s also Night Hawk by Clive Cussler, a Kurt Austin adventure combining space and sea. House of Spies is the latest Gabriel Allon thriller by Daniel Silva.
‘What if the only way to save your child’s life was to sacrifice your own?’ is the dilemma faced in the novel After I’ve Gone by Linda Green. Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Series is continued in the book by David Lagercrantz, The Girl Who Takes An Eye For An Eye.
All these books are on the shelves and ready to be borrowed. See you soon at the library.
