The musician is touring his new album Calvary Road and will perform at Carinya Christian School on 1 November.
The live concert will see the talented singer-songwriter share remarkable stories in song about ordinary people. Buchanan is best-known as a children’s performer but is making a return to the country music scene on this tour.
“There’s power in the collision of story and music and I’m hoping that’s what will make Calvary Road a satisfying evening for anyone, regardless of what they believe,” Buchanan said.
The regional tour is supported by Compassion Australia.
“We’ve had a great long standing relationship with Colin, and we know that this tour will be a great opportunity for Australians to hear his heart, but also for all those children and sharing their stories as well,” Compassion Australia CEO Tim Hanna said.
The Calvary Road Tour will start on October 24 in Maryborough and continue through Chinchilla, Alstonville, Moree, Gunnedah, Dubbo and Orange. The Gunnedah show will be hosted by Northwest Church Tamworth.
Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $15 at the door and can be purchased at https://www.compassion.com.au/calvary-road or through Gunnedah Fashion Fabrics in Conadilly Street.
