The Gunnedah Golf Club Championships will be held over the next two weekends with Ryan naming three well-known golfers as the ones to beat.
“Troy Dries and Luke Streater along with Shane Wilson are all in with a pretty good chance to go close,” Ryan said.
“There’s also Russell Easey and a few others all around the mark in the division one championships.”
The golfers won’t be able to make any excuses about the track either, with Ryan saying the course was in the best condition he’s seen it in his 20 months in the job.
“Ian Elphick and his green staff have done a great job and we had a little bit of rain which came at the perfect time for them to have it in tip top shape,” he said.
Chances in the lower grades include Daniel Adams and Toby Harris in division two, Peter Knight in division three and Ben Adamson in division four.
