Based in Moree, Grainland was founded in 1993 and offers a diverse range of goods and services including seed sales, grain augers, rural merchandise, grain handling equipment, machinery hire, grain storage as well as grain testing and sampling equipment.
Robert Drewitt said the company has expanded its machinery range by becoming an agent for Ritchiger grain bagging equipment.
“Grainland will be importing and assembling the bag in and out loaders in Moree starting with our first shipment at the end of August,” he said.
“Along with the machinery, we will be importing silo bags direct into Brisbane and will be offering deferred payment terms to allow growers to secure their bags early.”
He said Grainland was conscience of quality so it will only be supplying Hyti and Plaster bags.
“These three-ply, premium quality grain bags have been quality designed and treated for UV protection and meets the Quality Certification Standard ISO 9001:2000,” Mr Drewitt said.
He said the grain bag system was a cost-effective and adaptable storage alternative during harvest.
“It provides growers with the options of being flexible and self-sustaining, having unlimited storage at a low cost of around $3.30/tonne,” Mr Drewitt said.
Mr Drewitt said the Ritchiger machinery enables high capacity filling and emptying of the grain bags.
“It’s easy to operate by a sole operator, and can be towed easily behind any vehicle when transporting between the farm and paddock,” he said.
“Bagging machines include the Richiger R990 and R1090, which are the largest capacity and fastest grain bagging machines on the market, inloading up to 1200 tonnes per hour. The Australian-made Seed and Forage Bagger and DH Easy Loader offer superior bagging alternatives.”
Mr Drewitt said the extracting machines included the Richiger EA910 and E6910. Grainland will have the Ritchiger range of bag in and out loaders on display at AgQuip this year.
