The not-for-profit organisation held their AGM recently with outgoing chairperson Heidi Mainey’s report detailing a busy 12 months, resulting in a number of benefits for the hospital.
The group’s biggest fundraising events, the golf day and movie night, saw profits put towards a new pergola in the maternity courtyard; new blinds for maternity suites, children’s ward and store room; a new fridge; two framed paintings; a Biliblanket; and new paint for the hallway and nurse’s break room.
The AGM saw Kimberley Street elected as chairperson, Ashley Gardner as vice chairperson, Pam Duff as secretary and Marg Johnston as treasurer. Committee members include Heidi Mainey, Amber Donoghue, Lauren Robertson, Rebecca Ryan, Lindsay Sheedy and Sarah Russell.
PRAMS are busy preparing for their annual golf day in October.
