The Robins, last year’s defeated grand finalists, are going through a major rebuild this season and have displayed patchy form.
The side is coming off a 48-16 defeat of Collegian last round. But given the Warriors’ horrendous form this season, that scoreline is almost a fail.
Gunnedah’s loss to the Bears was their first of the year after three rounds, and post-match Bulldogs coach Seam Hayne was not upset with his side’s performance – giving them seven out of 10. He was particularly impressed with their defence.
Wee Waa hosts North Tamworth on Sunday and will endeavour to pick themselves off the floor – again – after a 116-4 humiliation against a red-hot Narrabri last round. In the other Sunday match, Narrabri plays Collegian in Tamworth.
