Police said at around 2am on Saturday, a 19-year-old Gunnedah man was allegedly assaulted near the corner of Conadilly and Abbott streets. The victim had left a hotel and was walking with two men and two women, when one of the men swung a pole and struck the victim, before punching him to the face and leaving the scene. The offender is described as being about 18, medium build and around 180cm tall. If anyone has any information contact Gunnedah Police.
