The singers joined their voices to perform We are Australian live on Facebook.
Just days before, Katrina joined the sisters on stage at The Tin Roof.
A long time Facebook friendship with Jesse, Andrea and Nina Dozzi turned into a genuine friendship over the past fortnight.
“We have been friends on Facebook for ages, so we were all keen to meet,” Katrina said.
“I love the girls.”
Katrina had a bit of a rough start in Nashville after leaving Australia’s shores on January 14. She struggled with sinus issues, jetlag and missing home but is back on her feet, performing in venues across Nashville and meeting up with writers.
When the Namoi Valley Indenpendent caught up with Katrina on Monday, she said she was doing well.
“I made a full week’s wage this week in tips and getting lots of work opportunities,” she said.
Known as the song-writing capital of the world, Nashville is an inspiration to the songbird who is already writing fresh material. She is also hoping to tutor budding singers.
Among the new experiences Katrina is embracing is the promise of a snow fall, which she has never witnessed.
