The exhibition features 125 works from women with a Gunnedah connection, from well-known local artists Maree Kelly and Shirley Urquhart to artists just starting out who were exhibiting their artwork for the first time.

The Strength and Diversity exhibition features paintings, photographs, embroidery, art installations and handcrafts.

The exhibition has been co-ordinated by Gunnedah Shire Council and is on display at the Creative Arts Centre in Chandos Street until April 10.
