The dispenser, located in the back entrance corridor to the Gunnedah Discount Drug Store, provides local ladies with a 'period pack' containing six tampons and two pads.
All for free, at the simple touch of a button.
It's a joint project by Gunnedah Family Support and the drug store, and is available for use during the store's opening hours. It's locked up after hours.

Gunnedah Family Support chief executive officer Veronica Rodenburg said the main aim was to help women in domestic violence situations.
"We seem to be in a chasm in the middle of Tamworth and Narrabri that has a lack of services, particularly for women and their children who are leaving violence," Ms Rodenburg said.
"Anything that we can do to assist and impact positively upon women and their children who are trying to find safety, we will try to do that within our capacity, and this is just one very small way in which we can assist."
Ms Rodenburg said the actual products were funded by the Share the Dignity campaign, but the two Gunnedah businesses were in charge of ordering more products, filling the dispenser, and taking care of the machine.
Locals took to Facebook to praise the initiative, saying it was "really great" and "fantastic".
"I think we have all been stuck without once or twice before. Absolutely amazing idea," Tarryn Kauwaeriria Noble said.
