The annual event is hosted by the Gunnedah Show Ladies Auxiliary every year and will be held on October 19-20. Entries will be taken from 7.30am-11.30am on October 19, with judging to commence at 12 noon.
Admission is free and florist Judy Clarke will return once again to decide which blooms are best.
This year, the event will shift venues to The Smithurst Theatre, with tables to fill with entries from 12 sections – white, bi-colour, pink, red, orange, Double Delight, mauve, yellow, Peace, miniature, colour not mentioned, and a vase of six roses (different colours). Bottles are supplied.
There are prizes to be won in all sections and a champion rose will also be selected.
Auxiliary member Coralie Howe is hoping entries will continue to increase on previous years.
Ms Howe encouraged locals to come and have a look at the display between 9am-4.30pm on October 19 and 8am-2pm on October 20.
Phone Val Howes on 6743 2220 or Coralie Howe on 0427 427 911 for enquiries.
