The Tamworth native began her duties on Monday, after graduating from the NSW Police Academy earlier this month.
Probationary Constable Iuso said she was looking forward to serving the Gunnedah community.
“Being from Tamworth I aimed to start my career in the area and it is really pleasing to be working close to home,” Probationary Constable Iuso said.
“I wanted to become a police officer to give back to the community and I have always been very interested in helping people.”
“It’s exciting to be starting things off and I am really looking forward to all the challenges and experiences I will get here in Gunnedah.
“I think country policing is very different to being in a city, so it will be a good experience.”

The Probationary Constable said she was lucky to have experienced officers showing her the ropes.
“So far I have been really enjoying myself,” she said.
“I’ve got to meet everyone on my first day and they have all been really welcoming and very friendly.
“I am very lucky to be stationed in Gunnedah and I am looking forward to experiencing as much as I can.”
