The last exam was held at Gunnedah High School on Tuesday, with four female students completing a drama exam at 2.30pm
Casey Egan, Bree Riley and Merishka Meintjes said they were “relieved” to be finished.
“I’m just happy it’s all done,” Casey said.
The trio said they felt well-prepared for the exam. The exam makes up 60 per cent of their mark, with individual major projects accounting for 30 per cent, and a group performance worth 30 per cent.
Now that their schooling is complete, there are mixed feelings. Both Bree and Merishka said they will miss the canteen.
“I’ll miss the support – having the teachers around. You can go and see them whenever you want,” Merishka said.
Bree is now waiting on an early entry offer from the University of Newcastle. She hopes to start an Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management.
Merishka wants to take a year off then study event management. Casey will be staying around Gunnedah and will start a traineeship with Li’l Achievers when the new building receives licensing.
