Two Rivers Arts Council (TRAC) is encouraging Gunnedah’s businesses to get into the spirit of Christmas again this year.

TRAC is running the Best Xmas Decorated Shop Front competition in the CBD area for the third year, with businesses in the CBD invited to decorate their windows and enter the competition.

A number of businesses including Riley’s Furniture and Carpets and Willow & Fli are already brainstorming festive ideas.

The winner will be voted by a panel of judges and will be presented with a trophy to display at their place of business.

Judging will start after December 1 and the winner will be announced at the Spirit of Christmas Fair in Conadilly Street on December 8.

The competition has run for a number of years and helps to bring Christmas cheer to Conadilly Street.

Last year’s winner was Tove Sparkes of Stockholm Florist.
