Gunnedah showgrounds will play host to the society’s annual stock horse show on October 28 and 29.
Northern Branch President Barry Moore said the weekend will be action packed.
“There will be a variety of different courses on both days,” he said.
“Saturday will see members compete on horses in time trial and hack events, as well as age futurity disciplines depending on the age of the horse.
“Sunday is our junior day where there will be judging for a number of different events.”
Mr Moore said there would be as many as 100 competitors across the weekend.
“At this stage we will roughly have 100 competitors attend the show,” he said.
“What is pleasing is that a good 30 to 40 of them will be kids.”
“We will also be running a raffle with a lot of great prizes up for grabs, so there is something for everyone,” he said.
The show will run from 8am to 4pm on both days.
