The Gunnedah man recently endured great pain, sacrificing his leg hairs to raise about $400 for Can Assist, which helps local cancer patients. The waxing was done by Maddi Vigor of Evolution Therapy.
The Halloween ball is Can Assist’s major annual fundraiser, with tickets still available.
The ball will begin at 7pm in the Gunnedah Town Hall and male “debs” will be presented from 7.30pm.
Tickets are $35 per person. Tables to seat 10 or 20 people can be purchased online at www.mygunnedah.com.au/halloween
Ahead of the ball, at 6:15pm, Gunnedah Shire Council is encouraging the community to dress-up in their scariest and funniest Halloween costumes and meet at the Gunnedah Post Office for a ‘Night of the Walking Dead' march.
