Ryan will travel to Sydney on Friday with the weigh-in scheduled for midday on Saturday and the fight on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunnedah boxer was excited at the moment but was prepared for the nerves to kick in as the fight neared.
“Of course I’m going to get nervous. You want to be nervous. It means you’re with it,” Ryan said.
Ryan won’t be making the trip to Sydney on his own.
“The club, Black ‘N’ Blue Boxing, there’s members coming from there and I’ve got family and friends coming down as well,” Ryan said.
“Tim Tszyu’s going to have everyone there supporting him, so, to have people there supporting me, it’s going to be huge. It’s a good boost and I’m very grateful for that.”
Ryan will take to the ring around 3pm on Sunday. The Gunnedah Hotel will be showing the fight.
