The national program was cancelled but GCTC wants to keep youth involved by purchasing bikes that can be used by young adults, pending interest.
We already have bikes for younger kids so this means any kid that wants to give cycling or triathlons a go can.

Kids that sign up to the club will also receive a fluro yellow cycling shirt.
“We thought we could spend the money on bigger bikes so high school age students can borrow them,” GCTC’s Lauren Robertson said.

The club cycles on Tuesdays at Hunts Road, for those interested, while the AGM is on October 31.
In other news, the club won’t be holding triathlons in Gunnedah while the pool is being upgraded.
Robertson said GCTC will be supporting the Tamworth and Armidale triathlon events instead.
GCTC will look to hold some sort of event which is yet to be confirmed.
Anyone interested in joining GCTC can contact the GCTC Facebook page.
