Seeing Brad Jenkinson charge in was something Albion captain Andy Mack used to hate.

“I had a gutful of facing him last year,” Mack said.
Now it fills Mack with delight after Jenkinson made the switch from the Kookaburras to Albion for the 2017-18 season.
“It’s good to be standing at gully or slip and watching other batsmen hop around the crease,” he said.
Jenkinson picked up right where he left off from last season.
The quick bowled eight overs straight to finish with 7-20 as he snuffed out any chance of a Mornington victory on Saturday at Wolseley Oval.
Jonathan Crowe (2-41) was amongst the wickets while Will Maggs (1-0) boasts a perfect strike rate with one wicket from one ball as Mornington was bowled out 113 runs short of Albion’s score.
However, it was Jenkinson’s day with Mack offering some sympathy to the Mornington batsmen having been in their position before.
“I think he’s probably one of, if not the, best bowler in the competition and his figures from the weekend show that,” Mack said.
“He was bowling down breeze, down the hill and he was a handful. It was unfortunate they [Mornington’s batsmen] had to face it.
“He just bowls that consistent line and length with an extra bit of pace and gets batsmen playing shots they normally wouldn't play.
“It’s more a psychological thing when he’s coming down the hill with the wind at his back.”
Albion had batted first in the match with Jenkinson also featuring with 21 runs to his name.
Damien Baldwin (33) top-scored for the side with Mack commenting: “He continued to play good cricket shots and not get carried away.”
Opener Jake Vigor was next best with 30 runs while James Mack contributed a handy 26.
However, sundries were the biggest contributor with 47.
“The sundries flattered us a bit but I still think we showed glimpses that we can put it together,” Mack said.
For Mornington, Jason Rose put in an all-round effort with 3/27 and 14 runs with the bat.
Aaron Donnelly top-scored for the side with 25 runs while Nicholas Willoughby was the only other Mornington batsman to make it into double figures as he made 19 runs.
