Across town the youth of Gunnedah will be spoiled for choice as Gunnedah Shire Council is running daily activities.
Highlights of week one include Movie Daze, kids afternoon movie on Monday at TurningPoint Church from 4pm, and Big Screen Gaming ‘Just Dance’ at the Gunnedah Town Hall on Tuesday at 10am.
On Wednesday, the Smithurst Theatre will run beach ball games from 2.30pm and on Thursday the Gunnedah Youth Council will host a glow party at the Smithurst Theatre from 6-8:30pm. Friday will give kids the chance to get out in the garden with spring gardening at the Gunnendah Bicentennial Creative Arts Gallery from 10am.
Highlights of week two include a Club-Y Mental Health Month event at 2pm on Tuesday at the Smithurst, and an AFL clinic at Wolseley Oval from 9am.
On Thursday kids an opportunity to work on relationship building with the Lovebites: Healthy Relationships program at the Smithurst from 10am. Friday will provide plenty of laughs at The Civic with a funny movie marathon from 6pm.
Every day during the school holidays, Gunnedah Library will host activities such as Junior Brain Games, story- telling for children and crafty creations.
Bookings for activities can be made over the counter at the shire office or The Civic Cultural Precinct .
