Things are ramping up at the Gunnedah Showground in preparation for the Fuchs AgQuip Bull Ride on Wednesday.

This event provides some top bull riding entertainment for locals and visitors to town.
Fuchs Lubricants have sponsored the Bull Ride with $5000 on offer.
There are 24 riders in the open bull ride – each having to ride two bulls – 13 in the novice and nine in the charity ride.
The charity ride has plenty of locals involved with the winner of this section to donate the prizemoney to the Westpac Helicopter Rescue. Bull ride convener Rob Galton said this will be one of the best bull rides in Gunnedah. Gunnedah Show Society is hosting the event and the committee is looking forward to seeing everyone on the night.
Gates open at 5pm with the action to commence at 6.30pm. Full bar, canteen facilities and music provided. Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for children and aged pensioners and $40 for a family.
