Plenty of new books have been added to the library collection during the last week.
Among the new titles are: True Stories of Great Escapes (Volumes One and Two) - these are described as “the real-life epics of men and women whose password was courage and who gambled everything for freedom – or death”.
In a lighter vein, there’s Fresh and Tasty Wok Cooking with easy directions and plenty of colourful photos.
For toddlers and beginner readers, there are two books by Trace Moroney - When I’m Feeling Loved and When I’m Feeling Kind. The books contain background notes for parents to help explain the concepts to children.
Among the new talking books is one by Australian author Monica McInerney, Family Baggage, which takes the reader from Australia to England. It’s in the MP3 format. If you don’t have an MP3 player, you can borrow one from the library.
