More than 3000 companies will exhibit at this year’s event, and more than 100,000 people are expected to sweep through Gunnedah.
As traffic backs up from Tuesday to Thursday, eateries, hotels and motels will be overflowing with visitors from every walk of life.
Widely known as Australia’s largest annual agricultural field day, AgQuip draws people from across Australia to showcase products, innovations, machinery and much more.
It’s a time when even farmers will leave behind the toils of the land to see what is on offer.
Though the focus is mainly on agriculture, AgQuip has evolved over the years, attracting exhibitors hawking jewellery, sweets and clothing.
Even the kids are let out to play, with numerous schools in the region yearly taking advantage of the learning opportunities.
AgQuip is held just west of Gunnedah, off Blackjack Road.
