The ruckman suffered the injury in the Round 19 loss to Hawthorn and sat out the wins over Geelong and Fremantle.
He ran on Monday but Friday's clash might come around too quickly for his return, particularly with the form being shown by fellow ruckmen Callum Sinclair and Kurt Tippett.
Captain Josh Kennedy trained on Monday and will be put through a full session on Wednesday to prove his fitness for what is being seen as the Swans’ toughest challenge of the season with the Crows on a seven-match unbeaten run and averaging a whopping 113 points a game.
