The interactive event will be hosted by the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club and is being organised by functions coordinator Wendy Mortimer.
Ms Mortimer said she wanted to introduce more fundraising events to the club’s calendar and approached Can Assist in February.
The coordinator said it would be a “proper game show” with three podiums, buzzers and a host.
Three members from each table will take to a podium to compete in heats, with a championship round to determine the winning table. Trivia questions will focus on general and local knowledge.
Tables will consist of eight people, with 28 tables already filled for the event, leaving only three tables available. Participants must be 18 years and over.
“I think every table will get a go,” Ms Mortimer said.
“We’d like to get a full house.”
Can Assist’s Linda Lee and Kate Knight said they were grateful to the club.
“Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club do a lot for us,” Ms Lee said.
“We were wrapped to think that they chose us.”
Ms Lee said the funds would give Can Assist a “very big boost” financially, enabling members to give more aid to locals affected by cancer.
The cost is $49.95 per person, which includes nibbles per table of eight. There will be a raffle and a lucky door prize. To book, phone the club on 6742 0400 and speak to Wendy or Sarah.
