During the holidays, the library is offering two free programs, one for younger children up to six years of age on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10.30am. There will be story reading followed by a handicraft “origami bookmarks”. There is no need to book.

Older children will be catered for in the afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.30pm where they can enjoy some Winter Crafty Creations! Children can make a lava lamp and do some origami.
There are also activity packs to do in the library or take home. There’s a limit of 10 children for afternoon sessions, so book a place for your child on 6740 2190. Materials are supplied and the session is free. Junior Brain Games will still be held on Wednesday afternoon.
There are plenty of new adult books waiting to be read, including Come Sundown by Nora Roberts, Dragon Teeth by Michael Crichton and Angel’s Share by Kayte Nunn.
