The session was hosted by FRRR’s Natalie Egleton and Jacki Dimond, with the aim of providing an introduction to FRRR, the various grant programs it offers and practical tips on writing a successful grant application.
Those attending included progress associations, Monsanto, cotton farmers, PRAMS, an Aboriginal corporation, Gunnedah Shire Council, early childhood services, youth services, and P&Cs. Feedback was positive, with a good discussion surrounding projects.
Applications for Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities open on June 30. Cotton growers in one of 14 regions in QLD and NSW can nominate a local community group for a $5000 grant.
