At the June meeting, the CWA State Conference delegates announced that the local branch had once again won the prestigious Moore Award for an agricultural and environmental book.
The book details all aspects of research, and activities undertaken by the branch members and was put together with much dedication by the branch agricultural and environmental officer, Ruth Payne. President Coralie Howe was presented with the trophy at the conference.
Winner of the competition this month was Lilian Lee with a beautiful hand-held fan. The flower was won by Coralie Howe.
The annual church service will be held July 9 at Gunnedah Baptist Church at 9.30 am.
