The Gunnedah Poultry Club will hold its annual Purebred Poultry Auction on Saturday, May 27. More than 300 entries are expected at the Poultry Pavilion at Gunnedah Showground. Some proceeds will go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and the auction starts at 9.30am. For more information, contact Bert Hewitt on 0428 420 905.
BUSHFIRE CHARITY BALL
The Bushfire Charity Ball will be held at Gunnedah Town Hall on Saturday, May 27. Funds will be donated to victims of the Sir Ivan bushfire and to the local Rural Fire Service unit. BIGGEST MORNING TEA
The Combined Pensioners’ Association will hold their Biggest Morning Tea on Monday, May 29 at the Smithurst Theatre at 10am. Come along and help support the cancer appeal. Gold coin donation.

MS MORNING TEA
An MS Morning Tea will be held at 10am at the Gunnedah PCYC on May 31. The cost is $5 and there will be raffles, trading tables and guest speakers.
Saturday, June 3
BIGGEST MORNING TEA
Oaktree Retirement Village and Just Country will hold a Biggest Morning Tea at the village at 4 Favell Street, Gunnedah on Saturday, June 3 at 10am. $10 donation to charity will include a fashion parade by Just Country and morning tea supplied.
Wednesday, June 21
BAREFOOT BOWLS
Gunnedah GoCo and New England Partners in Recovery will hold a barefoot bowls and barbecue event on June 21 to raise awareness about mental health. The event will be held at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling club from 11.30 to 3.30pm. For more information, contact Barb Heath on 6740 2181.
