A busy Gunnedah intersection is changing with a new roundabout taking shape.

The Hunter and Rodney street intersection is one of busiest in the Gunnedah shire, according to council.

Local resident Marie Hobson snapped these photos of the developing roundabout.

She said her old neighbour the late Kitty Murphy called this corner Murphy’s Downfall because she had a bingle there – a location where many other drivers have also come unstuck over the years.
