An elderly woman has died after being struck by a car in Gunnedah at the weekend.
A Gunnedah police spokesman said the 91-year-old woman was struck by an eastbound four-wheel drive about 6pm on Saturday.
It is believed the woman was using the pedestrian crossing at the corner of Conadilly and Henry streets at the time of the crash.
The woman who was from Gunnedah passed away later that evening.
Friends and family of the woman have been notified by police.
Oxley Crash Investigation Unit is investigating circumstances of the incident.
